ADOPTION PROCESS
Just a few easy steps...
1. Find your Dog
We have all kinds of dogs with different personalities; small, large, energetic, chatty, curious, adventurous, sociable, or cuddly.
Please look at our adoption page to find your Best Friend.
2. Talk to Us
After finding your preferred paw friend, please contact us. We would love to get to know you and your situation better, and discuss the personality and needs of your chosen forever friend.
3. Meet and Greet
If you are a perfect match, then it is time for a ‘meet and greet’. You can either come to the shelter or we will come to your home, with your chosen companion.
4. Home Visit
We will complete a home visit to make sure your yard is secure and give you some helpful hints for creating a smooth transition towards a safe, secure, and happy life together. Your chosen pet will be coming with for the home visit so that at the same time we can do introductions to the whole family. And the best part is that, if all goes well, your pet will stay with you.
5. Start your Adventure
When everyone has agreed that you, your home, and doggie are the perfect match, you will complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Our adoption fee of R700 includes vaccinations and deworming up to date, sterilization and a microchip.
6. Ongoing Support
We are always available to offer you ongoing support and any queries or concerns that you may have.
